At the beginning of 2018, a contract has been signed between Sony Music authorities and the tango-punk group Quinteto Negro La Boca. This band has released its new work – the 4th in its career- on March this year, in both, CD and streaming.

Quinteto Negro La Boca (QNLB) emerges inside La Boca neighborhood at mid of 2008. Soon to be 10 years old, this band, has become in one of the most relevant musical referents of the traditionalism of the tango culture.

Along this almost 10 years, QNLB has experienced a turn in its musical profile; transforming itself from a milonguero style into beginning a process of conceptual experimentation  that rises tango to another level, intending to leave the commonplace, mixing this typical “porteño” sound with another music tribes.

Like this, QNLB take tango across new ways, mixing it with Punk, Rock, Rap, Folklore, Blues, Cumbia, Contemporary Music and Ska, among others.
