IVY NEGRO

BIO

▶️ IVY NEGRO She is the rising star of Dominican alternative rock, a passionate artist whose visceral, deep voice is an outpouring of authenticity; she has found in rock a way to express everything she feels inside.

▶️ Influenced by giants of Spanish-language rock such as Soda Stereo, Héroes del Silencio, and Gustavo Cerati, Ivy stands out for the poetic rawness of her lyrics and her unconventional vocal tone. That voice sings with rage, eroticism, pain, and fire. Her songs, far from being embellished, are presented raw and vulnerable, like intimate diaries thrown onto the stage.

▶️ Notable concerts and collaborations: she has performed on stages such as the Oktoberfest, at concerts alongside Toque Profundo ((the most famous and important Spanish-language rock band in the Dominican Republic), Festival Generaciones, Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo, among others.

DISCOGRAPHY

⏩ TÁRTARO (2025 album). Their first studio album—a raw and direct record—blends the sounds of rock & roll, blues, funk, jazz, and trova, with lyrics full of passion and introspection. The title is truly telling, as Tartarus is a place of torment for the damned in Greek mythology. “My personal Tartarus… where I lay my wounds, my doubts, my mistakes, and my fears” says the artist.

⏩ BARCOS DE PAPEL (single 2025)

⏩ INFIERNO EN MI PIEL (single 2024) feat. Pablo Cavallo, a prominent Dominican singer-songwriter of rock and alternative music.
